2014 Brubaker Award Winner
Tatiana Nikolova-Houston is the winner of the 2014 John Brubaker Memorial Award for her two articles on Slavic Medieval Manuscripts. "Part I: Origins, Preservation, and Access" appeared in Catholic Library World, vol. 83, no. 1 (September 2012) and "Part II: Historical, Archival, and Aesthetical Value and Visibility" was published in vol. 83, no. 2 (December 2012). The CLW editorial committee judged Ms. Nikolova-Houston's articles to be "precise, free of ambiguity, economical in expression, original and stimulating, and considerate of the audience." She will be honored at the Awards Dinner on April 22, 2014 at the CLA convention in Pittsburgh, PA.
