The Brooklyn/Long Island Chapter of the Catholic Library Association is dedicated to fostering Catholic principles through the ministry of library and information services. The Chapter does this through various programs and services while stressing professional and personal growth and development. The Brooklyn/Long Island Chapter is a constituent member of the national Catholic Library Association and as such shares the mission of the parent organization.
