 Welcome to CLA Reads! This section of the CLA website is designed for individuals or groups that are looking for guides for book discussion groups whether they are parish-based, organizations or informal gatherings. We hope that you will take advantage of the CLA Reads, complete the Guide Registration and Evaluation Form, and participate in our program to provide quality reading guides for the larger community.
As you will see, our guides provide a brief biographical sketch of the author, synopsis of the book, and indication of the appropriate reading level – highlighting the benefits and problems in the text, discussion questions, related activities such as films or music. In order to improve our program we ask that you register for the program and return the forms. Your email address will not made available to outside groups.
We encourage you to get involved with expanding the CLA Reads program. Below is a form to create a guide that you can fill out and submit. In order to assure the availability of CLA Reads books, the publisher must be listed in Books in Print. Send the document to the
