Lois Duncan, famed author of young adult favorites Stranger with My Face, Summer of Fear, Killing Mr. Griffin and Don’t Look Behind You and many others was presented with the 2009 St. Katharine Drexel Award in recognition for her outstanding contribution to the growth of high school librarianship. The award ceremony took place at the Opening Awards Dinner during CLA’s annual conference at on Tuesday, April 14 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County Hotel.
