Procedures for posting job openings
Member and non-member institutions and individuals are invited to post job openings on the CLA website. Postings are complimentary for all CLA members. Non-CLA members may post job openings for $150 for a 90 day posting, payable in advance.
Job postings on the CLA website may be submitted at any time by email or via regular post. Electronic format is preferred, however, using PDF, Word or Rich Text Format. Openings will be posted by the 15th of each month and will remain on the website for 90 days in the absence of an expiration date. If the position has been filled before the expiration date or before 90 days, please notify the CLA webmaster.
After 90 days the posting will be removed unless a re-posting request (and payment of an additional fee) is received.
Please use the following format, limiting the posting to 300 words: a)Title of position, Institution, City, State, Zip; b) Main body of information: Introduction, Position summary, Qualifications, Salary & benefits; c) Application information, deadline, contact person.
