Welcome from the Wisconsin Chapter of the Catholic Library Association!
The Wisconsin Chapter of the Catholic Library Association strives to promote accepted standards of library services and librarianship. Founded in 1936, its purpose is to initiate, encourage, and promote the ministry of librarianship and Catholic libraries of distinction at all levels.
The WCLA upholds excellent taste in literature and other communications media, and offers library-related guidance and assistance to anyone who has questions. The membership newsletter, The Kaleidoscope, published three times per year, is an opportunity to share library-related ideas, information, and stories.
The WCLA acts as a support group for librarians, para-professionals, and volunteers in any type of library. Meeting with peers provides an opportunity for discussion, camaraderie, and prayer.
